I gottsa new computer!! Originally I was going to get a laptop to replace the laptop that died, but then I realized that a) I don't need protability, b) laptops have lower specs, and c) laptops die way too easily. So I've been looking around a bit, seeing if I could spot any good deals. Nothing much jumped out at me, until two nights ago. I was at Costco, there was a display, there was a coupon, had it been a rom-com there would have been swelling music (euphemism not intended).

I was hesitant at first, but with a 90-day return window, I decided to take the plunge. 8GB RAM, quadcore processor, 750GB HDD, 23" widescreen monitor, lots of ventilation... it's great. Though it did come with Vista, BUT it also came with a free upgrade to Windows 7. I can suffer Vista for a few months. And I may or may not swap out the video card at some point in the future, but for now it's good (512MB ATI).

And if that's not enough, I'm also going to get Photoshop CS4. Completely legally! My mother bought it, but it's going on my computer And I may even upgrade my tablet, though that remains to be seen.

I haven't been posting much lately (things keep popping up, and this Xchange pic is taking forever :c ), but I plan on diving back in with a vengence very soon! That is unless I get sucked into computer games now that I can play without crashing and more than just blobby shapes. And I may even pick up bare-bones WoW if it's cheap enough.
