You may have to turn up your monitor's brightness to see more detail.
I think this is the first piece that I've completely finished in a very long time. I really like how it turned out, too. Figuring out the fur was the hardest part and I wasted a lot of time by starting the fur from scratch after I didn't like how things were turning out.
The background, which I had been dreading (I suck at backgrounds
), turned out to be really easy. howler445 's tree and grass tutorial [link] made the trees easy to do. I also added some glowy things to balance the right side out a bit.
unintentionally inspired the dragon's colour scheme XD
If you can guess how many layers total that I went through (I keep all my layers) I'll give you a cookie.
